Last Call For Snow, this Weekend!
Sunday, March 22 is the final day of full operation for the 2014/215 winter season
The last three weeks were some of the best snow conditions all season... until the record heat arrived on Saturday. Temperatures hit 60 degrees throughout the weekend and are expected to remain high through Tuesday when a weak storm moves in which may bring a small amount of fresh snow for the weekend before turning dry and warm again.
As we experienced earlier this season, there are a few key, sensitives areas across the resort which need special snow maintenance after warm spells. The most notable area is the off-loading area for the Monarch lift which serves many of the resort's most popular blue runs and terrain park. After some snow maintenance by the groomers this week, the snow will be good for one last weekend - this upcoming Saturday and Sunday. However, with the current snow conditions and the extended forecast, our confidence is low beyond this weekend to be able to deliver the high quality ski and snowboard experience that we wish for our guests.
That is why we are announcing last call for snow this weekend - Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22. We will be closed this week (including Thursday and Friday) before reopening on Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22, which will be the final day of full operation for the 2014/2015 winter season. We would be ready and able to open the black diamond side and Canyonside Lodge if we get lucky with another big storm in the next few weeks.
To give you extra incentives to Get to the Point for the season finale, as usual, we have some excellent deals.
* Lift tickets will be $25 on Saturday and FREE on Sunday
* Mention promo code "Last Call" for a 50% discount on lodging for this Friday (3/20) or a 35% discount on lodging for this Saturday (3/21)
